At WWF-India, our attempts at nature conservation are incomplete without your support. Your contributions will go a long way in helping us in our areas of work like Climate Change and Energy, Sustainable Livelihoods and Enviromental Education, among others.

In the past 100 years, the number of wild tigers in India has plummeted by around 95% to only about 1700. You have the power to save the lives and habitats of tigers by supporting our work in tiger conservation*.

  • 5,000 - to provide field kit to a front-line staff to help strengthen anti-poaching patrols around nature reserves
  • 10,000 - to provide immediate relief to a family for livestock kills by tigers
  • 15,000 - to provide a camera trap to monitor tiger population
  • 20,000 - to help install 1 cubic metre bio-gas plant in a local village near a forest reserve to reduce pressure on forests

* Donation options are indicative and funds will be utilized for tiger conservation wherever required the most.

Did you know?

  • Tiger stripes are individually as unique as human fingerprints.
  • Elephants spend about 16 hours a day eating.

All donations to WWF-India are eligible for tax relief under section *80G of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961
